MP3 Player Adapters for factory installed system
QUESTION:
What would the easiest way to listen to MP3 files on my in-car OEM audio system without swapping out the deck for a MP3 ready unit?
ANSWERS?

You could go the fm modulator route, but that would suck for sound quality. I wonder if you could split the connection from the deck to the changer using an optical to rca cable? I'm really not sure what kind of connections our stock deck uses, though.

Not really sure. I know they just announced at CES in Vegas so I would expect some time this year. I saw it on TechTV FreshGear Best of CES and found the website.
Can't wait till it comes out!

Here's what i did. I have a great shop that I know, with family friends that take care of it. Back in 1993 they did a mod to my stock GS deck. They wired in aux rca inputs and a switch lead. It was used to install a sony rf changer with out using the rf modulator. You flick a little switch and the aux input is selected. I have since removed the changer and use the input with my Apple ipod. It sounds great, nice and clean. The shop is called Short Circuit in San Jose California. There main work deals with auto-makers such as Toyota, Lexus, Infinity, BMW, etc.
