Installing Nakamichi Cd-45z in my SC 400. Need to know if anyone has the wiring diagram or wire colors for the following:
12 volt, Ign, pwr antenna, illumination. I did a search and couldn't find anything concrete. Thanks

Ssmith your going to like your new 45z. Thats the model I installed in my SC 400. I will call my cousin tonight to see if he remembered the wires. He was wiring the headunit while I was working on the mb quarts for my doors. I think the wires from the car matched the radio, but dont quote me on this. You will like the finished look of the radio when its installed. I have had people think it was the "stock headunit". Good luck!!!! I let you know as soon as I hear back from my cous.

 

Yeah, it's not loaded with a bunch of features, but it's probably one of the cleanest head units out there. How well did your trim plate turn out. I'm probably going to put a R/F PA-II underneath it. Originally had ordered the 6 disc in dash to go with it, but it is extremly noisy and slow. Let me know what you find out.

Shane, be careful, mycrobyte's diagram is NOT the same as your's. I wrote the colours down somewhere, i'll look for it.

 

aw man! i just changed myhead unit too, and i had all the wires figured out. let me see if i wrote it down somewhere....

No, I have the upgraded Pioneer system. Finishing up installation, will post a bunch of pics. Still waiting on those wire codes. Anybody????
