Seat Heaters in my RX300
I bought my wife a "Pre-Owned" 2000 RX300, but it doesn't have the seat heaters. I was wondering if it is possible to install the dash switch and wire it in.
I know that typically these features are available, but just not hooked up. From a cost perspective, it's cheaper to manufacture all seats with heaters then some with and some without. It's cheaper to manufacture one wiring harness then one with some wires and some without.
I was wondering if it might be possible to buy a couple of switches from the dealer and install them, connect the wires and possibly connect the wires to the seats and get functioning seat heaters.
Thanks for any input.
