want to put in an aftermarket cd player....
just got a 92 sc for my wife and i as a DD and the stock sterio isn't working... the previous owner wired in an aftermarket cd player into the glove box and yeah that isn't going to fly LOL. BUT i asked the shops around town and i cant find and adapter kit for an sc .... tried to search and didn't find any threads i have seen pics of single din cd players with a cubby under it..basicaly any thing would be better than what i have now!!!

there are no replies because there isnt any such cd changer or adapter that works on 1992 sc factory system. ive noticed on this club that if there are no replies it means there are no answers to your question. if there were answers there would be around 10 answers.
also there are 3 different 1992 radio systems and 3 different headunits. p1600 non cd changer radio, p6800 pioneer system cd changer button radio and n204 nakamichi cd changer button radio. if you were more specific on which system you have you might get more answers.
the radio type is on the cassette flap door under the theft desgn logo. if you have one of the cd changer button radios a factory changer could be installed which when the cd button is pushed turns the amp onto high fidelity amp otherwise it plays tapes and fm modulated changers at low fidelity so factory changer the best option.
