Default SC300/400 Specific Stereo Install Kit

To my knowledge there has yet to be a SC300/400 install kit produced for an aftermarket radio. Does anyone know of one? I would like to put a double din headunit in an SC and keep it looking as factory as possible. What has everyone else come up with?

There used to be a company that made a kit, no longer available now.....but it was only for a single din unit. You dont really need a kit.... a double din fits in flush but it does leave a slight gap at the bottom.....1/2 din in size that you can make a cover plate for out of say fiberglass, plastic, kydex or even carbon fiber! Or you can just add an audio control unit to fill in the space!!

Thats what I heard...I really dont want to just fill in the extra gap with something. I really want the unit to be centered in the hole thats left from the factory HU.

Is anyone else interested in getting one of these? Too bad there isnt a company that can mass produce these things for a direct bolt in affair without fabrication work needed.
It would also be great if they had a single din install kit with the choice of extra holes for gauges and such...

I agree, but sometimes you have to make what you need.

You will have to make something unless you can find a 2.5 din headunit.

That sounds great! Hopefully theres a lot of interest in this! I think a reasonable price would be ~$50 depending on what you can offer as far as custom configurations to fit a user's need.
