Default I made a terrible mistake. please help electronics people!

ok guys...I bought myself a 6.8 inch screen to mount right in the dash...a DVD player to mount in the trunk but has a remote eye for the front, and I have a big 4-channel amp in the trunk as well. here's the problem...I have no volume control. I can't believe I didn't think of this. I could have sworn I thought the DVD player came with it. What can I do???????????

i told you you needed more things besides just what you got
you need some kinda receiver to control the volume and where it goes to all the speakers...
look at spending another 500 bucks for a good one

What exactly did you install. On most units, you need a receiver, a DVD player, and an amp to run it all. Every company is different. It could be that your DVD player has the receicver built in and the outputs aren't working right. Connect your stereo to the amp, does it play? You could have the inputs to the amp wrong. Explain in detail how everything is connected. And how everything is switched. Does ypur stereo connect to the DVD player?

well I got the Farenheit DVD player-

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-VihbVJi...?i=026DVD2&s=0

Nothin is installed yet. First..I have to make sure it will all work. I'm getting stressed trying to figure this out.

Importtoys(Marcus) I think I need your help here. How come the monitor has volume control and how do I use it? What do I plug the RCA cords from the monitor into on that long S-VIdeo cord/adapter thing you sent me? If you could mail me back with instructions on how to hook that up that'd be great. And thanks again for the MAF adaptor.

Hey,
You should've let me know which one you were gonna use. The one we talked about is a true 'stand alone' and its smaller.
I dont think you'd want to use the volume on the TV screen. The signal would sound horrible coming through an amplified system. The control is for a speaker that is built into the monitor case about an inch big.
I'll pull up the monitor diagram and email it to you.

You're welcome....Intake soundin' good??
