Go Z2
I would go with the Z2 mainly because it is a hard drive unit with all the nav and software stored there. The D3 only has on CD slot because you are suppose to either leave the nav disk in or enter you location so it can store the route in memory (which then allows you to remove the nav disk so you can play cd, etc.). Lots of nice features on the Z2 but it is twice the cost of the D3. If you want two cd slots, go with the older D2. Also, consider the Panasonic CN-NVD905U. You can see it at :

IMO go with the d3..........get the ipod adapter and/or cd changer and you will still come out cheaper. the only benefit to the z2 is hard drive. save that extra money for other mods!!!!!

Z2's aren't the best and lots or problems have been reported with them. I would get an Eclipse AVN-5510. Great bang for the buck and extensive EQ adjustment. Plus it has 5V preouts instead of 2V.

I've just had my D3 installed a few hours back... amazing quality and bang for your buck. Don't forget to purchase JDM double din face plate as it is perfect install. There is no need to fuss with cutting and fitting the aftermarket double din and repainting it.
