Cops cant touch me! ("naaah nah nah nah... nah nah... nah nah... can't touch me")

Just wait until all major cities are fully wired via CCTV to track everything...and even better, all newer cars being able to track speed, engine rpm, throttle position, steering angle, brakes, etc. All great when the insurance companies will be able to get all data via gps, and of course charge everyone accordingly, not to mention the loss of due process and probable cause when a cop can simply scan your license plate and know your driving habits better than you do.
I suggest some reading up about EDR or event data recorders. They used to just store this data for several seconds before, during and after accidents...I'm sure there will be many advances to label everyone a terrorist for speeding. These are usually triggered when an airbag is deployed.
Oh but they hate us for our freedom right?
Hate to be a skeptic, but that's exactly what's in process as we speak!!

Sc250tt funny thing is i have been driving the 300 for the last month and without a radar detector i have been doing at least 15-30 over the limit and not even thinking about it, but i drove the 400 to work today and that thing was going off like crazy so i was constantly watching my speed.....hmmmm maybe not needed?? naaaahhh Cant touch this!

Looks like it's gonna be a very clean install. An additional note to you guys who run the Indiana Turnpike, you also have marked and unmarked DODGE MAGNUMS patrolling that road. I am a trucker, and come across the Pike quite often and have seen them. As far as not getting caught, would suggest you stay FAR, FAR away from Virginia where they are HIGHLY ILLEGAL. Cops WILL not only make you disengage it if seen when they pull you over, they will also confiscate it as well. Doesnt matter if it is just a power cord, or a full display, they will take it. Mounted ones are even worse, as they will make you dismount it right there in front of them and then hand it over. They dont care if you have to cut wires, whatever, before they fine you for having it as well as what he pulled you over for.

Was wondering were my forum went trukn1 ya i know about Virginia, cops there have detectors for radar detectors which is funny but they now also have radar detectors that cant be detected not quite sure if this one i have has that but i dont need it ne way... nice thing i like about mine is that it will be concealed, so incase i get pulled over ill just close my cig lighter door and smile....less chance of getting a ticket

The V1 can be detected by everything.
In terms of quality: Cobra's are universally horrible. They're -so- bad they actually set off OTHER (superior) radar detectors. Here's a funny video of that actually happening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAPz1jMM0vg
As for 'shifters' and laser jammers, I would suggest checking up on http://www.guysoflidar.com/ the Guys of Lidar who do the best tests.
Right now the best model out is the LI (Laser Interceptor) with the LPP (Laser Pro-Park) and AL (Anti-Laser) in second, but all three of the generation 3 laser jammers are fantastic.
