I just bought my GS400 and I'm very happy how well the performace are, however I accidentally overlooked the CD changer when I bought the car. A couple days ago I was ready to jam in my car, but after I put my burned CDs in the changer, the "ERROR" sign appeared on the stereo display. I thought maybe this CD changer is old and can't read this type of MP3 files, so I popped in regular CDs, but the same sign appeared again. How can this be..?? I can hear the CD changer is running, but for some reason it won't play MP3 CDs and regular CDs as well. Does this mean I have to buy another changer or can I just clean the laser..?? I've searched around for this typical issue on the forum, but I can't find the real answer to it. Can anybody chime in to this problem or maybe direct me to a thread please.

It doesnt play MP3 files off of CD's sorry... also your cd's may just be upside down... rather they are supposed to be upside down.. shiny side up in the cartridge.
