Default How do I remove carphone in center console - pics

Well I am trying to remove the phone in my center console. So far I got the rear 2 screws out, 2 10mm bolts on the bottom and the 4 screws that hold the base into the console.

Now what?

Thanks
Matt

oh wow. I found out that that plastic piece not only had 4 screws but it was glued down on the bottom.

found the last 10mm bolt and voila.

btw, for anyone doing this. you will need to make a new bottom trim piece because the stock one is L shaped to go around the plastic base.

I just took a peice of cardboard and covered it in suede that I had laying around. You can use anything fabric though.

^^Thats what I had to do too. If i could activate that phone for free, that would be my option of choice. But since that option isn't possible, its out the car.
