Hey guys.. just wondering i understand the last update for for the navigation was in 05 but does that mean they give me the new updated nav (the 3rd gen nav) like the ones in 01+ GS? and can i intergrate i pod into that??


ive been serching this for a while and i cant find my answer.. ps i think i just need to talk to somone about this!

The 98-00 Nav systems are HDD-based units and the last update is a 2005 update with Nav data from July 2004. The 2001+ units are DVD-based. There is no OEM upgrade to the DVD-based nav for a 98-00 GS. At least one CL member has done it, but it is a lot of work.
