heres my question, how would you do the outputs for the sub/components?
See the green, blue, and red jacks on the lower right? Them are audio outputs. You can manage them from the computer, then just get (or make) cables that adapt them to the processor/amps you want to use. His might have a SPIDF output, since he said he has an HD radio tuner. If you don't want to go that route, though, the mobo should have capable sound.
damn, thats not expensive at all. I might do a build.
EDIT: heres my question, how would you do the outputs for the sub/components?
My motherboard has Line-in I use for my HD radio Reciever.
and Front Speaker out. If you get a 5.1 sound card it will include the sub output and rear speaker outputs.
In my case I just split the outputs at the amp

The motherboard I have has the Processor integrated so I can't upgrade.
I had some programs installing at the time of the video. It actually performs very well if nothing else is running.
Damn... that is some sweet fab work. I know how to build the computers but fall short in the "mount it in the car so it looks real clean" dept. I have the factory nav in a 2000 GS400 which kinda precludes me installing a car PC unless I can find a way around the climate being built into the same unit.
hey can you reload the pic of the mounting...it is saying moved or deleted.
Also can you show us some snap shots of the thumb drive or is this not done yet. I have been looking to begin building mine as I want this setup so I can run the AEM without any additonal units in the car (ie lugging a laptop around).
