92 SC300 Avic-D3 installed , couple pics.
Well after much collecting of parts. I finally went forward to have my unit installed. We kinda used a little filler piece at the bottom to fill the hole, and took a trim ring from another install kit. It doesn't look the cleanest , but it does the job and works awesome. All harnesses that were used were the schocse and the metra amp harness. I don't have a Nak system nor do I have a changer. But all in all in works with the pioneer sub ok. here's some pics.

Nice install I was wondering about the fitment of the D3 in the SC now I know. I want to do the same install I'll probably put my turbo timer and boost controller right under the screen they should fill in that area perfectly.

thnx for the compliments so far , I will say the amp integration harness isn't really that great. It pretty much takes the sub out as far as i've noticed. I also got another trim ring, going to try and grind it down a little better. To try and at least make it square with the rest of the console. Another thing if you do get this deck. Do not place the gps antenna under the dash, lol , my installer has done tons of avic installs and he says this is the only car he has ever had to put the antenna on the roof for good signal. other than that i'm lovin it so far, I can watch ipod movies right on the deck, and the bluetooth and sirius are sweet.

yah i got mine mounted just on the upper passenger side, looks a little iffy, but works fine now. I guess if the sirius antenna wasn't thier it would look much better.
