Hey guys i have a volfenhag zx-8400 this is the spec for the amp:
* Number of Channels 2
* RMS Power (4 ohms) 200 watts x 2 . channels
* RMS Power (2 ohms) 300 watts x 2 channels
* RMS Power (1 ohm) Not Stable
* Bridged RMS Power 600 watts x 1 channel
* Peak Power Output 2000 watts
* Minimum Impedance Unbridged 2 ohms
* Minimum Impedance Bridged 4 ohms
* THD at Rated RMS Power 0.1%
* Speaker Level Inputs No
* Preamp Outputs Yes (1 Pair)
* Built-in Crossover Yes - HP / LP / Full
* Bass Boost 0 - 18 dB
* Signal-to-Noise Ratio N/A
* Fan Cooled Yes
* Fuse Rating 40 A x 2
* High-Pass Crossover Frequency 50 - 1 k Hz
* Low-Pass Crossover Frequency 30 - 500 Hz
* Subsonic Filter N/A
* Channel Separation N/A
* Bass/Gain Remote Yes
My question is I have two KICKER CVR 12" 2 OHMS percoil. So i was wondering what is the best way to connect it to the amp? I currently connected it so it would produce 8 ohm resistance. But my amp can only support 4 ohm when its briged. So is 8 ohm the last hope?
Thanks alot

Wire the voice coil on each speaker in series for a 4 ohm load and use the 2 channel setup with each channel showing a 4 ohm load.
You can also wire one speakers voice coils in series for 4 ohm load and the other in parallel for 1 ohm load. Then wire the 2 in series for 5 ohm load. Not the best way to do it, but it can work.

If the amp is consistent (doubt a wolfenhag falls in that category), then wiring it up to 8ohm bridged or 4ohm independently should be the same. Either way works fine. But I wouldn't suggest running one sub at one resistance and the other at a different value. One sub is going to overpower the other.
