I heard that the antena moves up and down to get better signal. Again thats just what I heard I dont know for a fact. Second the rear speaker covers dont come off just by them selfs. You have to take the hole top deck thing off. You have to take off you rear seat, then pop off the third brake light then slide the rear deck cover towards you. Then you can get them. Heres a good line on how to do it https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...171#post802171

1. thats normal for the antenna
2. I didnt have to remove the third brake light but there are a few screws to remove and some clips for the hat tray its not quick but its not hard...jus a bit time consuming (take your time with it). getting it back together you have to make sure all those clips are securely in place if not...guess what that amp does...it vibrates and it will annoy the @#$% out of you til you fix it.

Good luck

my antenna does the same thing. Right around 97.X it raises and if I go back down lower on the "dial" it goes down. Its only like a inch or so. It freaked me the flip out when it did it for the first time.

Don't get me wrong having a power antenna is a "luxury feature" and is cool and all, but the antenna looks H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E!! Plus its something else to go wrong. It has stuck on for me once and I powered up and and shut if all off and it worked just fine since then. I rarely listen to the radio, but here recently I have my changer magizine out and I keep on forgetting to put it back in so ive been stuck listening to the radio the past two days!! haha
