yes you can add a box or bazooka tube to your stock stereo. the easiest way is to tap off of the sub speaker. that way you can still use the stock sub. to do this. you just splice off the wires and hook it up to an amp with a built in high/low level converter. (kenwood amps have them) otherwise if you use an amp that doesnt have a high low level cnverter you can buy it seperaty for like 15-30 bucks. thats basically it. if you have any more questions. just ask me. also if you are looking to buy any equipment let me know. i get alot of new equipment for unbelievable prices. just ask and i can prove it, no obligation. lol ok hope that helps.

hey, ifyou have an amp and passive box, then why do you want to put in a tube? going with a box is uch better.

uhm its hard to describe, but there would be inputs for bare wire. they would almost be next to the rca speaker level inputs check that first. i would say best bet is to spend $200 or so and get a new powerfull amp. other wise i wasnt really sure what you were asking, hope that helps.

Lightbulb Bazooka Tube

Todd - Go with a sealed box & external amp over a tube ( Bazooka or otherwise ). While I think the tubes have their place, the bass tends to be muddy & the amps R weak. Also, the crossover isn't very precise. I've had both amplified & unamplified Bazooka tubes ( 8" & 10" ) & if forced to choose, take the unamplified version & get an aftermarket amp for it. But for the better sound, try a sealed box/amplifier combo.
