Hey ppl, For a while i been meaning to take off that ugly double din unit the sc comes stock with, my problem is that i need to find the dash kit for it and the harness kit. I've gone to shops and no one has them and they charge me $200 for a custom one made out of FG. All i really want is a good pioneer single din head unit to add to the pioneer speakers which i already have, i already have a gps so no point in buying a double din wth GPS/CD/MP3. Any information would be appreciated.

There is no kits for sc300. So you would have to make one yourself. Toyota wire harness will work. There are double din units that would work the opening is doube din and half. I have put in D3 and have custom pice made that fills the gap.

i heard the kit from the supra works and i need the metra and the supra radio harness. Does this work?

If you're referring to the Supra dash kit, no, it will not work. For the SC a custom piece does need to be made. AND, it by no means needs to be made in fiberglass. Simple ABS plastic will work fine for the trim plate.

Unsure offhand which Metra harness works but there is one that will.
