Default Alpine DVA / IVA question...

here's something that i've been meaning to fix with my current set up...

i have the DVA dvd player hooked up to the IVA monitor. i would like the "video selector" function to work so that the video displays the dvd output while the audio playing the CD/radio/changer etc. this currently works for Navigation and AUX 2 inputs, but not the dvd. how should this be set up? right now, the DVA will only power on when you select DVD from the source. am i missing a connection somewhere?

Thanks,

-Corey

it is possible to set it up like that... i have a cva 1005 and dva5205.. i forget the exact procedure, but you need to use the dvd remote ( black one not grey) and locate the button that has v.out on it. if i remember correctly, you go to the dvd player in the source select screen. then hit the green source button, then hit the v.sel button below the screen ( i believe it's #3) select aux 2. the dvd player should go off... then press and hold the v.out button on the remote. the dvd player should turn back on and stay on. I hope I gave you all the correct info, but if not it is located in the iva manual.
