Let's see pics of your setups.
I wanted to mount mine on the far wall but I might face problems because of the gas tank.
Post em up!

thats what i did in my car. i mounted my sub and 4ch amp on the panel that covers the gas tank. what i did was get some back-strap pieces. i bent them into an L-brackets. one side i mounted to the board and the other to the underside of the rear deck. the board i used was a 1/2" MDF. if you use 1/4" the screws might come out after time.
after i mounted the board to the car it would hand right over the back of the gas tank. then i reinstalled the factory panel and attached the amps. it very simplified but it will give you an idea of what i did.
i have the polk momo amps and they have covers on them so all the wiring is completely hidden. just amps floating![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
this is a basic guide to what i did. granted mine was in an SC300, yours should be similar.
good luck.
will post pics later. im in Connecticut right now. lol.

The L7 has plenty of airspace in the tire compartment. I had them fiberglassit and raise it up a little from the actual original height. The L7 needs a MAX of 2cu.ft. and mine was measured at 1.5

That L7 setup is ok, but you cant really use your trunk at all, which is fine if you dont need to.
I like your setup Tim. My amp is in the corner on one side of the trunk, and the sub is bolted down on the other, very simple and still plenty of trunk to use.
