Default Best way to burn CDs to play on Nak system? Cassette won't eject

I just got a 96 sc400 with the Nakamichi 12 disk cd changer. I tried burning audio cd's with both iTunes and Toast. The burned cd's play fairly well but they make the nak skip around the cd and it will randomly play tracks and start in the middle of songs. Does anyone know the best way to burn a CD to play on the nak systems? CD's from the store work great.

Also my cassette player is having problems it won't eject and has trouble playing which sucks because that is how I would prefer to listen to my iPod. Anyone know how much it costs to fix a cassette player or any other ways to connect an iPod besides FM transmitter?

Thanks

im not so sure its the cd. my nak works randomly, then stopped working on any cd's.
and those tape decks brake easily.

i suspect it just needs a cleaning. i have been to lazy to bother with that, i assume you use one of those cleaner cd's, but sometimes they can cause damage or get stuck. can of compressed air might do the trick.

another option is the nak cd changer hack, where you make the ipod run off of the cd mode. i forgot the wiring but there are a couple of threads about it. searh for nack hack

I have same problem before and i use many different quality and brand CDs too. The only brand CDs work great with the nak system is "GQ Great Quality CD-R." I only use this brand CDs to burn song and never have a problem with it. So you might want to change the CDs brand to see if it works.

Your stacker probably needs a laser realignment. I have the factory 12CD changer in mine and it plays CDs beautifully, whether burnt or bought.
