Exclamation 01 GS300 - FR speakers going in & out? [Chicago,IL]

01 GS 300

Both my front speakers go out after a while of driving. Then I noticed that, when you open the passenger FR door all the way, the speakers make a staticky noise and 50% of the time they come back on. I took it to the mechanic yesterday and he can't find the problem...said he took the whole door apart and doesn't have a clue?

OKAY. Weid, what is the problem?

I live the Chicago-land area. Can someone tell me what the darn problem is???? AND refer me somewhere...someone...please...

how does a mechanic know what to look for when the fault is not mechanical?
its either your amp is going or your speaker wires are shorting somewhere along the line. or the speakers might be on their way out.

I am getting noise from my FR speaker too. Do you have an aftermarket stereo/speakers? It comes and goes for me and appeared just after I finished installing my CarPC. I have not been able to figure it out.

Any suggestions where I should take my car? There's plenty of audio shops around here, I just don't want to meddle with ppl F*up my car...

Everything I have in the car is stock, and the only thing I plug in is the lighter or the radar, where neither of them takes enough power to cause probs...
