No Display on Nakamichi Stereo Head
Patient: 1994 SC400 w/ Nakamichi radio head - casette, 12 disc changer, etc.
Just bought the car - good price, but lots of little issues.
Radio head display does not even light up. Seller said he had just removed a Sirrus unit prior to selling. Said everything was working, but now nothing.
Pulled the console & found one plug not hooked up. Reinserted plug, still no joy.
Power switch can power up the amp, but simply nothing on the radio head. Checked both Radio1 & Radio2 fuses. They are fine.
Suggestions about what could cause this symptom?

For those that might be able to help....
I have confirmed 12v at the C3 connector position when in the ACC/Run position.
I have confirmed 12v at the C4 connector position even with power off.
I have confirmed good ground at the C12 connector position.
So... at the radio the B connector appears to be doing it's job (off/on, vol), power on the C connector is hot. The D connector appears to be hooked up because I see the eject light on on the changer in the trunk.
Shouldn't this be enough to power up the display on the Nakamichi head? Is the Nakamichi head dead? Is there an internal fuse in this radio?
