Default front speaker problem

This weekend, i took off my factory front driver speaker off. And replace it with some 2-way infinity speaker. The problem is, the tweeter on the speaker works but the cone doesn't move or do anything at all. Could it be my speaker be defective or something? I even tested it out on the second speaker and same problem. But when I put back my factory speaker, everything works, cone moves.

Check and see if you have a high pass filter set up. That would allow the speaker to only certain frequency's. And what kind are the stock ones?

I guess if it was all stock then there wouldn't be a filter. Check and make sure that the infinity's aren't underpowered. Whats the peak and RMS ratings on them?

That's not too high, the stock system should be able to power them with no problem then. I guess just check and see if the new speakers have a better or worse sound improvement. If they do I would keep them but you might have a bad set of speakers because the cone should move. I would go back to where you bought them and talk about a replacement.
