Default IVA-W200? any experiences fellas?

Hey guys, I'm looking into trying to trade my audio stuff for an IVA-W200, any experiences with it? It seems like a solid unit, it's the step down from the 205 that has the plug-in portable nav. While that's a sweet feature, this 200 is half the price of the 205. I just want to see if it'll work with the factory amp/sub and all that good stuff.

I had this unit, worked really well for the past 2 years. It will not work with the factory amp/sub however.

I currently have the W200 installed in my GS4 for the past 1.5 years and love it. It will not work with the factory amp/sub. I used a Metra PN#70-1761 radio harness to bypass the factory amp and using stock speakers. W200 is connected to separate amp for sub. I am also using a PAC TR-7 to do the video bypass and haven't had a single problem with it. For dash kit, get the JDM double-din unit from Carson Toyota. The W200 is a solid unit. Hope that helps.

I have both the W200 in one car and the W205 in another. They are identical in performance. Like you said, the only difference is the built in dock for the Blackbird which I use in the W205. Works well. Anyway, I use the Pac 7 bypass module and have never had any problems.

Yeah I have it in my Sc400 and you have to bypass the amp which mean you will no longer get any response from the sub. Great unit though. I love it!!!

that does help, but has anyone had any experience getting the factory sub to still work? I realize the stock amp cant be used, but i'm wondering if i can get a different amp, and just run the signal out of the preamp on the IVA to that amp, and then run it to the stock sub?

Good unit but for the price it has two short comings.

1. only 2v preouts
2. Very limited EQ settings/functions

You should be able to wire it like that. Just make sure you don't get a very powerful amp, the stock sub was at about 100 watts RMS I believe.
