I have a 97 SC300. I have an avic-d3 head unit and one precision power pc4100 amp (the older series around the time of the chrome where the limited were white) and an pc275 (the model before my other one which was a "granite" finish). the pc4100 is a 4 channel amp rated at 400 total (100x4) watts at 2 ohms. i recently bought one of the ebay speaker adapter plates. right now i have 5.25 kappa components in. i was thinking about keeping the crossover and tweeter from the setup and getting the jl 6.5 woofers to put in. question is, what they be too underpowered and also what ohm to get if they are staying with my kappa tweeters. also i want to replace my sub in the trunk to a jl...preferably w0, w1, w3. if its a dual channel amp thats going to be bridged mono...what series sub and ohm should i get? dvc or svc? thanks in advance
