XM radio interface
I've been trying to install the GEXFM903 Pioneer FM modulated xm radio unit into my LS430 with the Mark Levenson system. This Pioneer unit must interface with the FM antenna connection. The antenna connector at the tuner pack is a Molex connector of some sort that houses both the FM antenna connection and the diversity antenna connection. Does anyone know if there is an adaptor available that would allow a standard Motorola antenna connection to interface with the Molex connector? Any suggestions would be helpful.

You could T-tap a female motorola plug to the wires from the molex like connector, but if your traveling near a radio station that has a strong signal near the frequency of your FM modulator, you could hear it along with your XM... not so good.
Or better you could simply cut the two antenna wires going into the Molex plug and put in a male and female motorola plug. Your GEXFM903 would then plug right in. If you ever remove the GEX simply plug the motorola plugs together.
P.S. Let me know if you need help identifying the antenna wires, I have the EWD for the LS430. It shouldn't be a problem as one wire will be ground and that is the antenna shield.
