Don't forget about the chewing gum... oh, did I say that out loud?

Hey, hey, hey! No body mention chewing gum & bulbs around Dave! That is a touchy subject, and is only addressed in The McGyver Handbook of 1001 Things To Do With Chewing Gum

No sweat - the bulbs are *not* side specific.

Now, as far as getting them into a 97 ES, you'd probably have better luck asking someone on the ES General Forum - I've never done any bulb changing on the ES. Sorry, dude.

I have been runnig 80w 9006 fogs in my gs for almost 3 years. I had to replace the bulbs once but the wiring harness seems fine to me. I have been trying to locate a set of 80 watt 9006 yellow ion / amber fogs...but no luck yet.

This is why I ALWAYS recommend buying good quality bulbs and NEVER running them over the stock wattage (well, a little bit is ok, but don't run 80W lights when the stock is 55W!)

Also, when installing it, make SURE you don't touch the bulb...personally, I put on latex gloves...I'd rather look stupid that have to replace a headlight housing...

You guys should really look into some quality bulbs, like the new XTREME (not SUPERWHITE) series from PIAA. 4150k, blue tipped, DOT street legal and runs at stock wattages.

People who had Piaa Plasma and other bulbs after installing the Xtremes noticed a much brighterm broader sweep of light.

and its US LEGAL too (grin) not imported.
