i've always wanted to swap out the stock sub with something, cuz i hate these heavy sub enclosures in my trunk. (waste gas, take up space) but i dont think any company make direct replacement sub for our stock ones tho. (btw i got a 1200 wat amp running the stock sub) lol

Im about install the RF P3SD410 in a small sealed enclosure...mounted in the stock location
Calling a sub a "Free-air sub" is an insult to all subs!

just go with a small sealed box sounds a lot better ive tried both a lot less rattle with the sealed box and just mount the box on the raised platform in the back of the trunk with the sub facing the back of the car or to the side depending on the size of sub. i tried a sub in the factory location and experienced too much rattle from the rear deck.... you can remover the stock sub to let more bass in the cabin or leave it there and jus disconnects it...
