Angry please help with my subwoofer!!

some old lady rear ended me... and to make a long story short, my subwoofer isn't working anymore. i wanted to replace it with an aftermarket one, but a buddy told me to be careful with the specs of the sub, or else it won't sound right. got any suggestions? i called the dealer and they want to charge me over $200.00 for a new one, not including installation.

HELP ME!!! it's killing me to be in the car and not hear or feel the bass that i'm used to...

thanx...

Sounds like a cable might have shaken loose with the impact. Check the wiring to the amp and sub. Since your still able to drive the car, I can't imagine how the sub could have gotten damaged w/o a massive collision?

Let the LOL's insurance co. fix your car, incl the sub. They/she are responsible for ALL damages from the accident.
