How to get to rear speakers?
Tried searching, How do you get to the rear deck to get to the speakers?
I looked for bolts to the rear seat- couldn't find any. The grilles seem glued on, and I didn't want to break it. How do you get to the rear deck?
Some idiot who had the car before me had another system in the car, when he sold it he just put some junk speakers in the car and hacked it together. It was SUPPOSED to be Nakamichi.
Well I am getting MB Quart and a new stock Nak headunit, how do I get to the speakers? The rears are blown. There is a horrible rattle back there too, I think he glued in the speaker instead of screwing it down now it came aloose and it is rattling I think.
I have a 92 SC400.
the system when you turn it on sounds like it is skipping but it makes that sound on the radio, am/fm/ tape and CD. It isn't the Cd player, it is playing through a song fine just the sound is cutting in and out like a CD skipping. Anyone know what this is?

Yep thats exactly the right way to do it, I however didn't remove the rear side panels... that worked in my case, you might want to do it just to be safe....My system is completely redone too and it takes some work but is well worth it.

pull the bottom rear seat cushion up(its just clips), there are 3 14mm bolts that hold the rear seat upper section, if you have a 3rd brake light u have to disconnect it shold just pop out with some force and unplug it. You ARE supposed to take out the seatbelt on the bpillar, and remove the rear armrest and 1/4 window trim then remove the rear deck, you can squeeze out the rear deck without taking these pieces off IF YOU ARE CAREFUL.
