IS 300 radio removal
Can someone tell me how to remove the bezel and then the radio from an 02 or similar IS? I'm installing a Grom interface for a mp3 player.

I'm done, sounds great, digital quality BABY yeah!!! Thanks jw007. Just one note to add.. follow instructions from jason below and then if you have heated seats you will need to gently pry the control panel down and pull towards rear to expose two more 10mm bolts. Once that is down you may remove components from the side bracket.

The felt covered tray pops up. This was the hard part because I was trying to get a thin screwdriver uner the tray at an angle. It seemed really tight. What I needed to do was push the driver straight up and down between the tray & dash panel, then it popped UP.
Once thats out, there is 2 screws that hold the panel for the AC vents. You can't miss the screws. Once the screws are out that panel pops towards you(back of the car). 2 10mm bolts hold the AC control panel and then you'll see the ones holding the radio in.
