OEM 99 GS300, tied into the dome light?
I have a 1999 GS300 and last night I was switching some bulbs in the dome light/ map lights and blew a fuse. I didnt get around to putting a new fuse in but today when I got to work I noticed that the time on the dash was very dim, almost couldnt see it, and the OEM alarm would not be armed, it didnt do anything. I just replaced the battery so that cant be it. I am going to replace the fuse tonight and hope that fixes it but I cant imagine the two would be tied in togethor. Any other suggestions?

sorry for the confusion, the only light inside that has dimmed is the time in the center of the dash, radio works fine and instrument panels work fine. The battery I replaced I meant to say was in the key fob, although I did get a new battery a few months ago for the car. Any other ideas on why my OEM alarm suddenly doesnt work?

problem solved. fuse for the dome light where I was messing around had blown and this apperently also takes out the clock but not sure why it took out the alarm as well, but everything works great now
