https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=384638
Well that was my original problem...I replaced my battery today..all was well until i came inside...about lettin the car sit for 2-3 hours with my doors locked...my alarm goes off!!! i really don't know WHAT it is that is setting it off.is there anyway to disable the alarm? but then again..if i disable it..i will still run my new battery out because it seems as it the car would stay on the "ON" position as if there was a key in it with the dash lights and everything on..could there be a short somewhere? i dont kno!!!! inputs, ideas and solutions will be greatly appreciated.

That happened to me too when I replaced my battery. There is a toggle down at the bottom of the lower steering column area trim. I just randomly flipped it back and forth while turning the key on and off and after a few tries it went back to normal.
In the meantime you can pull one of the interior fuses to disable the alarm and keep it from going off while you're at home.
