Disconnect your negative battery terminal, and then replace the fuse.

Oh and btw, do NOT, under ANY circumstances, replace the fuse with a higher one! If it's 20, replace it with a 20. The higher fuse will not be stable.

How do you know that the problem is in the amp? Do you have a friend with a similar GS300 that you can switch amps with? I had no sound from one channel in my 00 LS400 earlier this year and when I switched amps, I found that problem was really in the head unit -- a blown balance control which turned out to be cheap to have fixed.

You might try turning off the radio, disconnecting the negative battery cable and replacing the fuse one more time. It took a couple of tries in a friend's 99 LS to keep the engine compartment radio fuse from blowing. Oddly, when the fuse held and didn't blow again, we thought we smelled something burning in the passenger compartment. The smell went away though and the radio and CD changer kept working.

yea i went through a pack and a half of fuses ... i guess its more of a wiring issue than a component failer ? ima check for piched wires the fuse is popping for a reason but where is the problem ? this could take hours to figure out ima drop it off at a alarm shop or the stealer i dont have time for this lol alarm shop diagnose = 90 bucks Stealer = 150 just to start lol
