Default Stereo System Help

I ran a 12" sub and amp to my stock radio. I ran the power wire down the right (passenger) side and remote wire down the left (driver) side. The line in/out converter is in the trunk tapped into the factory sub wires. After i got everything working i noticed that the radio signal significantly decrease from the way it used to be. If i disconnect the power wire to the system the radio works perfectly again. What can i do to correct this issue? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Where did you ground your amplifier and what are you using as a remote turn on?

I grounded the amp to a spot that is already used as a ground behind the back seat. And the remote turn on is connected to the radio fuse.
