Default Good deal on Car Alarm? Other Suggestions?

http://www.scytek.net/galaxy.php?pic...000RS-2W-1.png

$125

I just got a 05 GS 300 and was going to upgrade the stereo system and add maybe headrest videos so I was thinking the stock alarm may be a bit less then I am wanting? Is the alarm good though?

Any other suggestions would be great!

Thanks

Ouch that story about Viper makes me worried about them, anyone got experience with an attempted break in and the alarm did its job?

Cool

I would throw Autopage into the mix. It's all I use now, and I have had good experience with them.

Keep in mind, though, that it's all about the installation. Good security system + bad installation = pain in the butt. Good security system + great installation = no problems.

Even the best alarms will not work if the install job was crappy. Alarms have to be professionally installed in order to guarantee safety.

Any comments on this one? Looks like good features for the price. I dont know if I would ever need more then 1 mile range.

Any suggestions in Dallas area on installers?

I'm using a Carbine Plus 5850 in my car, I installed it of course. Carbine, Audiovox and Code-Alarm have been around for a while too.
