So Ive came between these 2 subs,
12 Fi BL and the 12 Fi Q ported or 15 Q sealed
personally i havent heard either, but i know the Q has better SQ and the BL is louder.
Anyone ever heard either?
Will either be louder and hit harder than my buddy's type x?

Im going with a Fi 12'' BL Ported.. With a kicker amp.. either the zx1000 or zx750.
Anyone want to tell me which i should get. Dont want/have enough money to start upgrading my electrical system so i dont want to over power it and murder my battery.
So if i get the zx1000 and it ends up being too much power for the stock alt, and battery and i have to turn down the gains, i could have just had the zx750 for cheaper and probably running the same watts as the zx1000 with the gains turned down for less money. (anyone know what i mean lol?)

Don't know myself, I'm sure someone here does. I am running 2 MTX amps, one of which is a T1501D is sucks a huge amount of current. The alternator and battery are stock, however, I have 3 Stinger dry cells in the spare tire well, fed by 0/1 AWG wire. I have had this set up for about a year now, no issues.
IMO the ZX750 or ZX 1000 will both do the job for you, you will notice very little difference. Just make sure you provide plenty of power back there. Dry cells are a good idea, there are reasonably cheap, and they charge pretty quickly, and they will take a load off your stock battery.

[QUOTE=G2low;4467326but their 60 dollars cheaper than the kicker.[/QUOTE]
Theres a reason for that I would say the Brutis would have reliability issues vs. Kicker. Hifonics are not what they used to be.......if your choice is between the two of those ZX vs. Brutis, I say ZX, no question.

My only dealings with a refurb Kicker amp was a 4-ch. that's been some time ago, I did not have any issues. I would say, as long as the warranty is reasonable, I would feel good about it. Take it to task as soon as you get it
