Got a little work done yesterday. Finished painting the rear panels. I used this stuff called "Bulldog adhesion promoter". I think the paint holds on much better with this. Here are some before and afters:

Then I started repairing/reupholstering my rear decklid. There were a bunch of cracks and the whole panel was in pieces literally, so I have to brace it in the center with some MDF and cutout a hole for a small port. I wasnt able to completly finish but heres where I am at now:

There is going to be 2 other layers of headliner foam that goes on before the final suade layer does. Should look pretty good.

Ill Keep you guys posted.

subscribed...this is my next project after the engine is complete. I want the interior looking brand new so I can finish up the exterior.

Could you please take some in progress pics of the rear deck as mine is pretty trashed at the moment as well.

Good work!!!

Got the rear parcial deck done today. Came out better than expected considering the shelf was in 3 pieces when I pulled it out. It was cracked in half and warped.

Claiborne Suede FTW

Decided to install it along with the rear panels I painted. They are going to come off again when I do the headliner but I wanted to get an overall feel for how it looks. The SEM paint held up perfectly andl looks sick. It looks alot better in person than in the pics. I managed not to scratch anything during the re installation process so it looks like new OEM with some armor all or something...

I will be starting all this tomorrow morning. Any questions, feel free to ask

Wow...has it really been that long since I worked on my system? Been soo damn busy these past few months with work school and the swap, that the system has been put on the back burner...

The past week though I decided to get my butt back in gear and I have a lot of things in store...

The carputer was working fine but i decided to upgrade it and change its location. It was located above the gas tank, but now its going in the tire well.

Heres the Custom fiberglass enclosure for the JL 12w7. 1.325 ft^2 of airspace measured with water. Takes up practically no space in the trunk....Im actually in the middle of this install and im waiting on some dynamat, CCF, and some mass loaded vinyl barrier....ill post completed pics when done in about a week (im doing so many other projects at the same time)

Sorry about quality of pics, taken with cell phone (HTC Incredible)
