Smile How to add an FM2 to (Mark Levinson, LX570)

Suprisngly my LX570, Mark Levinson radio system doesn't has an FM2!! which is pretty odd nowadays plus the blur about RDS feature (that my previous '98 land cruiser support) and LX570 doesn't even say.

I know this is only a software issue (The FM2), so how can I program the system to have an FM2 like a normal new car?

My LX570 is with the package that has Radar Cruise-Control.

Thanks in advance.

The FM2 is not "only a software issue" most likely. If it wasn't included, it's not simply press a few buttons and it magically appears. All is not lost, though - you may just have to hit the "Band" or "source" button to get to a secondary FM band. I know on my steering wheel control, I hit it and it cycles through FM1, FM2, FMwhatever, AM, and then CD. Try that first.

Not sure about the RDS, but I do agree that it's a nice feature to have.

Welcome to the club, too!

I've tried that in the first place, it only displays FM, AM, SW1 and SW2 but no FM2!

I don't know why do you think its not a software issue, I'm an IT student and it does look that way to me unless you have an experience with it...

so no RDS in LX570 Mark Levinson?

from my readings and searching over the internet I came to the conslusion that the audio system in LX570 is the same in LS460 (same no. of channels and amp model too) I mean if that help coming to a conclusion to my problem...

the feature of FM2 is that to enable you to restore more FM channels to your radio system instead of wasting your time searching for it..
