i want to pick up some teweeters as mine are blown out. I was looking at these Memphis Audio ones for $79.99. Are those decent? They come with a crossover but I assume I dont need it right?

You'll need the crossover. If you look at the stock tweeter, there's a small capacitor - that's the xover for the stock unit.

As for Memphis Audio - never tried them. I've always used gear from the "top shelf". That is, Alpine F#1 Status gear is "acceptable" to me.

I've asked people if it's worth it to replace the stock tweeters... no one answered me. I did it and suggest people to replace it too. Aftermarket sounds so much better... no more annoying Rianna, split the ears, sound. The sound is a little warmer.

Stock speakers, whether they're ML, Nak or pioneer are questionable in quality. Definitely replace them.

And don't believe the dealership or the sales/ service people if they CLAIM that the systems are TUNED for the speakers - it's a load of crap.

You'll get more bang for the buck by just replacing the speakers. Remember that OEM has to make a profit on the name. And they won't use higher end materials like the aftermarket.
