98 ls400 w/Nakamichi - need specs for subwoofer
My subwoofer has died on me =( But the upside to my situation is that Im looking for an aftermarket replacement =).....Can someone hook me up with the specs and any recommendations for replacement? based off what i've read it would be a hassle to try and replace/rewire a new system so i just want to fix whats acting up which is the subwoofer. Not looking for expensive ish just something that is a basic/simple replacement for the OEM sub.

The first place I looked (Carson Toyota/Lexus) has the OEM Nak rear shelf speaker for $170.65. Look up part number 86160-50110 on http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214915
I found it a little cheaper ($164.48) at http://www.lexuspartsonline.com/
I found it even cheaper ($146.66) at http://www.parts.com/oemcatalog/inde...id=2&year=1998
IMO, it would be easier and more reliable to get an OEM than try to find an aftermarket speaker that would fit and work. The best part of the Nak system in my 2000 LS400 is the incredible bass that comes out of the subwoofer.

Thanks!!
after reading some other posts going aftermarket will more than likely have me trying to cut/fit the sub into the rear shelf.....Since its OEM it'll be plug and play....can't go wrong with that.
