Thanks. Looks like my head unit, dnx8120, only has High Pass and Low Pass Filter. Same thing with my Amp - PRS-D2200T ... so, no bandpass filter. I will be putting my passive crossover back in. My tweeters are in factory location.

With all the junk I have, atleast I should work on the voice more than the rest. I'll need a crossover for these 3" dynaudo- should I run a center channel with amp to it or just choose a left or right channel for it and leach off current amp? Right now, I turned off my center channel on the headunit.

I think I'm really missing the midrange. I may just find another midrange, non dynaudio, to fill the missing "voice"

Try to keep all the speakers matching brands. If you're already loading the system up with the Dyns for everything else, why skimp on the center speaker? It won't sound right and the staging will be messed up.

I don't have dyns on everything else, I just want them for the midrange. Trying to figure out which channel to send the vibes to it.

Personly I love my Focal K2P's I have them powered with an Alpine PDX 4150 amp and have an AudioControl DQS. This speakers with this setup is extremely clean. The speakers are about 1200 bucks and the processor is about another 600 bucks. By far the best setup I have herd. The speakers are a big part of the sound amp is another good amount of the quality of the overall sound. When you are able to tune a vehicle correctly you bring things into the music that you have never herd before. Sounds amazing. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!

The complete set is very expensive. somewhere in the 1k dollar. I would just get the midrange for the voice... I bought a 3 way (low, mid, high) passive crossover... I'm just going to buy one 3" midrange for 200 bux. I'm not sure if I should buy the 5" one or the 3" for voice though.

Be careful buying Dynaudio from discount stores as there are fakes.

The fakes look exactly like the real deal, but they don't perform like the real ones.

Buy them from an AUTHORIZED distributor. You definitely get what you pay for. And I wouldn't ebay them as there are plenty of fakes that are difficult to tell from the real thing physically.

Personaly I would not recommend buying any sort of product from a "discount" place alot of times they deal with B stock. Not saying that all of them do but there are a lot of them that does. the best thing to do is go into your local authorized dealer. They will know the product inside an out and make sure that you are getting what you are really needing for your auiod needs.

I've not bought anything from them yet myself, but we do have a new Club Lexus vendor that carries car audio stuff - some quality brands.
