Default rx interior amp hook up.

what is the best way to hook up a 6 channel audiobahn amp for all the interiors. plus im not sure if im gonna use component sets or just go with 3 way and 2 way speakers. eventually i want to use the 6th channel for kick panels or soemthing. also note i already have an audiobahn amp on the sub. i just tapped it off the speaker level imputs from the original sub. should i do this to every speaker or go from the stock amp? any suggestions.

I think you should remove the factory Amp and push all the
speakers from your new amp. It might sound better?

Did you replace your head unit, If not you may want to get
a Line driver, to increase the signal to the Amp. This will make
a big difference in the sound.

alvin.... no i did not replace the factory head unit. so let me get this straight, ur sayin i should just run all my leads from the head unit. and bypass the stock amp? also to get a line driver? to do this, do i have to get high low level converters. or can the wires from the head unit go directly into the line divers. then out from there comes the rca's?

Wink

From the H/U speaker outputs use a High Level to Low Level converter, this cost about $10-$20. This unit will give you RCA outputs. But the level will be low 1-3 Volts. A line driver will
increase this voltage, 4-13 Volts. With a line driver a cleaner stronger voltage will be feeding the amps, creating a cleaner sound.( this voltage is not power but a audio singal). Keep in mind some amps only accept upto 4 volts input, so don't spend
all your money on a line driver that does more then you need.

A line driver cost $100-300. Check out Audio Control or Pg.
You may need 3 High Level to Low Level converters Front /Rear/ sub. Now your factory deck will control your amps.

Ya, you will need a Remote on./off +12V lead and something to
control speaker thump on turn off.

Good Luck
