I have an after market sub box with built in sub amp. inputs are +12v, earth, REM (remote wake up?), dual RCA jacks for signal in. Now i want to replace my factory sub/amp with it.
I have the wiring diagram of my sub amp, they are:
+12v constant,
earth,
WP+ and WP- (audio signal from HU, one channel?),
mute,
remote turn on
my question is if I can simply connect WP+ and WP- to new amp as one RCA signal in, +12v, remote turn on, and earth to new amp and have it play?

i have successfully connected the aftermarket sub (with built in sub amp) basically i remove the stock sub amp and rewire the wiring to new sub. its quite straight forward with the wiring diagram
Ryeno, thanks for the comment. Actually the OEM sub output (from HU) is already low (preamp) signal, i dont need a converter. music quality is now great
