SC 400 Replacement stereo help......
I am wanting to replace the Nak. head unit and speakers in my 92 SC 400. Does anyone know where to get a mounting kit for a replacement head unit? Can anyone give some suggestions on a replacement 'free air' subwoofer? Once I get everything out I'll be selling the Nak. deck, Nak. amp, and the 12 disk CD changer......

Lotta info in previous threads on this issue...
For example:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=38919
...my posting in the thread lists the free-air model available.
There are many others, if you want to use the "search" feature of this web page.

I have just installed a Clarion CD/MD 2Din player with CeNet. I have managed to splice up all the wires and connect them. I even got the power antena working. I have one problem. i hear no sound. My Eq-display clearly shows the music playing but I hear nothing. Here are my questions
1. If the preamp(one on the head unit) is busted would I hear anything?
2. The telephone transcever wire (red and black I think) should be hooked up to what? (i don't have a lexus factory phone). on the original engineers manual this wire is denoted "from telephone transcever" and the front right speakers are denoted "to telephone transcever.
3. the RU+ and RU- wires should be hooked up to what?
thank you in advance for your help

I've always been pleased with Crutchfield, I usually buy my stuff from them and do my own installs. They have a real nice and easy to navigate web site to find what fits your....
