Nakamichi Stereo problems SC400
I am having a real difficult time figuring this out. I have the Nakamichi system in my 92 SC400.
Suddenly all the speakers are producing a "click click click" sound when the system is turned on. It does not seem to be volume sensitive nor does it respond to fade balance controls. I can hear the regular music in the background but faintly and distorted. The CD, FM etc seem to be functioning...
Any one had this problem or suggestions???

although, this may be a different circumstance, the exact same thing happened when my nak. amp was flooded during a jet-spray carwash. Did it happen when it was raining? Or did you get a carwash the same day it happened?
Well...i ended up replacing the amp...and now it works fine.

Not a wash job nor is it wet, but I am sure the amp is gone.
How did you replace yours? With a used factory stock or a new aftermarket one? Was wiring the new one a reasonable effort?
Thanks...
