IS 250/350 AFTERMARKET SUB W/ STOCK NAV help.
I have the stock navigation in my IS and was looking at doing a 12" JL W6 or W7 with a 1000watt amp..it is the non-ML system but I know the stock speakers are connected to an amp somewhere themselves. Question is what do I need to do in order to run the sub on my stock nav system, like what parts are needed and how difficult is it. help if you can, tried searching but they weren't specific for the 2gen IS.

30 views and no help..always happens..jus gonna throw down the $$ n get it installed professionally, they said something about an adapter and stock amp bypass so that system runs as usual and just disconnects stock sub, and i will have a 1000.1 JL amp with 12" JL w7 most likely ..tryin to tap into an output for the headrest lcd's too..gonna be a biyotchh.

all you need to do it tap the right and left channel leads going into the lexus amp from the lexus factory radio. . the aftermarket unit would be free standing and get its digital leads from the wiring to the mark amplocated in the trunk. the 2 wires would be located on the smaller wiring connctor not the thicker speaker output wiring connctor that is always in twisted pairs.
