What's needed for Pioneer Avic in non navi 99 gs300?

Default What's needed for Pioneer Avic in non navi 99 gs300?
Guys,

I have a 99 gs300 without the navi. I would like to install an aftermarket Navi such as the newly released AVIC U310BT.

What is needed besides the unit itself?

A friend of mine who works in audio said lots of re-wiring as well as new speakers.

Is this true?

I would like to get this done ASAP and need some concrete answers from audio gurus.

I am audio illiterate, I just turn wrenches on DSM's

Search the DIY section of the 2gen gs. There is a write up that has everything you need. This is a rather easy install. It just takes some time.
