Default How can i install an aftermarket radio and still use the factory amp?

How can i install an aftermarket radio and still use the factory amp?Well i got my radio Pioneer avh-p5700dvd.and i want to keep my factory amp for my mids and highs.i got the plug brand name Metra 70-8112.which has rca wires in it.please help guys.

Yes guys do you know.you can install an aftermarket radio and still use your factory amps.I did it last nite.all plug and play.it took me for ever.cuz its my first SC.but its a fast install once you know what you doing.

could you explain how you fixed it i have a stock nakamichi head unit and trying to use an aftermarket head unit double din navi dual xdvdn8290 with the oem speakers sub and amp but is a little tricky and got the front two speakers to work but has a lot of static and can raise the volume up to 12 if you can help me in any way i would appreciate it thnx

i still have some engine noise when i the volume is low.i gotta figure it out.

to get rid of the engine noise you need to get some rem wire and ground all the rca to the body of the deck!!! i have the same deck in my LS400. yes it is possible to wire stock amp to any after market deck!!! problem is the sound going to be a little weak since the stock amp doesnt have any gain settings. some people rung the fosgate 360 and what not
