Angry no sound/no lcd display on my 91 ls400 stereo

Please help!!! my 91 ls400 stereo sound system went silent, no sound at all with the volume all the way to the max, checked all the fuses, all OK, tried to reset the stereo system by disconnected the batery for 5 minutes, didn't work. The stereo appear to have power, backlight on, power antena up, cassette tape running, the cd changer working, even the tunner beef when press, but no sound and no LCD display (blank screen, mormaly shown tape , cd or fm stations,...).
Is there a fuse for the amplify? where is the amplify locate? Is bad amlify cause no sound, and blank lcd screen?

blank LCD's are common on the 90-94 LS 400 as they fade over time, the amp is located in the rear on the left hand side just under the left trunk arm behind the plastic that covers the front of the trunk bed

the reason for no sound, i would not know, should get it checked out

i had a similar problem with the no sound and found out that the factory amp blew........but for some strange reason about a week later the sound came back on but was much lower in volume (showing the amp had definitely been killed).....perhaps u should check out the amp to your system
